Many supporters of the All Progressives Congress APC in Kebbi state have left the celebration for the Peoples Democratic Celebration PDP.
Those that left the APC are largely from the Kebbi South Senatorial district of the state.
They embrace a former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Ok Aliyu, Alhaji Atiku Alaramma Warra APC Zonal Vice Chairman Kebbi South, and former Secretary to the State Authorities, Abubakar Ummar amongst others.
The defectors stated they joined the PDP as a consequence of unhealthy governance within the state as there was no growth put in place by the current administration
They promised to work for the celebration to make sure its success within the 2023 basic elections.
On the PDP headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, defectors from Yauri, Shanga, Ngaski and Danko Wassagu native authorities areas have been acquired by the PDP state executives.
Receiving the brand new members, on Thursday the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Usman Bello Suru, assured to deal with them with equity and equality.
On the ceremony, brooms have been equally set on fireplace by the PDP supporters.
