FG, States, LGAs Share N802bn As Allocation Rises By 18%



A report issued by the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) confirmed there was an increase in allocation shared by federal, state and native governments within the month of June 2022.

Naija Information understands that the three tiers of presidency shared the sum of N802.407bn within the earlier month, recording a ‘massive’ leap from the N681bn shared in Might.

An announcement made obtainable to newsmen by the Director of Press/Info, Federal Ministry of Finance, Mrs Phil Abiamuwe-Mowete, highlighted how the fund was shared at varied ranges.

“From this said quantity, inclusive of Gross Statutory Income and Worth Added Tax (VAT), the Federal Authorities obtained N321.859 billion, the States obtained N245.418 billion, the Native Authorities Councils bought N182.330 billion, whereas the Oil producing states obtained N52.799 billion as derivation, (13% of Mineral Income),” the assertion famous.

It additionally said that the Federal Authorities bought N29.074 billion, states obtained N96.914 billion and native authorities councils got N67.839 billion.
