Blended reactions have trailed the disqualification of Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Moveable from the Headies Award 2022.
Naija News reported that the organisers of the awards in a press release on Tuesday evening, twenty sixth July, disclosed that the singer was disqualified, over his involvement with the Nigerian Police in current instances.
The Headies organiser cited problems with alleged loss of life and hurt threats to different nominees in the identical classes if he fails to emerge the winner.
The organisers additionally expressed displeasure over a video printed by the ‘Za Zu Zeh’ crooner, claiming affiliation with the dreaded theft gang often called ‘1 Million boys’.
Reacting, many Nigerians on Twitter claimed the choice was the correct step including that he actually doesn’t deserve the awards.
