Former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN Omatshola ) ‘Tee Mac’seli has questioned how All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu made his money and why he isn’t fit to be Nigeria’s next president.
The famous flute player, Remi and Tinubu’s wife said to be cousins, stopped supporting APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 after asking Nigerians to vote for him.
A Nigerian flutist, who is also an APC supporter, stated that he has no personal issues with Tinubu, but that he was concerned about the country’s future after seeing how easily Tinubu obtained his presidential ticket.
He expressed his pride in being a Nigerian and his hope that the next presidential election would help take Nigeria out of all its problems, such as insecurity, inflation, and poverty.
He stated, that there is nothing standing in the way of us becoming one of the most favoured nations on earth, given our healthy populace, abundant resources, and other advantages.
A post from a Tinubu supporter on Facebook prompted him to reply, and he emphasized that any intelligent individual would question himself before supporting a political candidate.
He wrote: “Dear Yemi, anybody can choose any candidate but an intelligent person will ask himself the question: do I choose rightly! Is the man qualified? Is he honest? Does he tell us the truth about his age, background, and how he made his money? Is the man healthy enough at 86 to take up the task of a totally run-down country?”
“You see, Tinubu is my in-law. His wife Remi is my cousin, her Itsekiri mom, and my Itsekiri mom are sisters. I’ve known Tinubu since the mid-80s personally and even organized for him to stay in my stepfather’s home ( SIR MOBOLAJI BANK-ANTHONY) in London when he was on exile.
“I stop supporting him and stopped visiting his home and so on when he supported Buhari’s presidential campaign for the presidency of Nigeria in 2015.
“I advise Nigerians that this man is not qualified to become our next President.”
